ULTRA-RARE 1971 Pressing,
RED LABEL WITH CIRCLE LOGO with "Subsidiary".
IN The SUMMER OF 1969, CAPITOL SWITCHED TO A LIME-GREEN
LABEL FEATURING ITS NEW CIRCLE LOGO AT THE TOP. THE OUTER "C" IS
PURPLE AND THE CIRCLE REPRESENTING THE RECORD IS BLACK.
THIS LIME-BACKROUND CIRCLE LOGO WAS USED FOR CAPITOL
BEATLES ALBUMS UNTIL LATE SPRING, 1971.
DURING THE SPRING OF 1971, CAPITOL SWITCHED TO A RED-BACKROUND
CIRCLE LOGO LABEL. SHORTLY THEREAFTER, CAPITOL BEGAN PRESSING
ALL OF ITS BEATLES RECORDS WITH APPLE LABELS.
HOWEVER, A VERY SMALL, LIMITED NUMBER OF
BEATLES
ALBUMS WERE PRESSED WITH THE RED LABELS BEFORE THE
CONVERSION TO APPLE LABELS TOOK PLACE.
YESTERDAY AND TODAY AND REVOLVER
ARE THE ONLY CONFIRMED AMERICAN-PRESSED BEATLES
ALBUMS WITH THE RED-BACKROUND CIRCLE LOGO LABEL !!
OFFERED HERE IS A MOST STUNNING EXAMPLE OF THE
